Pupil Premium Fund
We ensure that teaching and learning opportunities meet the needs of all of the pupils irrespective of their ability, gender or socio-economic background. We ensure that appropriate provision is made for pupils who belong to vulnerable groups, this includes ensuring that the needs of socially disadvantaged pupils are adequately assessed and addressed.
The school use the grant to support these groups, which comprise pupils with a range of different abilities, to narrow any achievement gaps between them and their peers.
We also recognise that not all pupils eligible for pupil premium funding will have lower attainment than their peers. In such cases, the grant will be used to support enrichment and access so they can reach their full potential.
We will publish our strategy statement on the school’s use of the pupil premium in each academic year on the school website, in line with the conditions of grant, and using the templates on GOV.UK
Please see our Pupil Premium Policy (SMT005) for more information.
Primary Sport Premium Fund
The fund will be used to ensure that sustainable improvements are made to the quality of PE and Sport for all our primary students.
At Treloar’s we recognise that this will have an overlap with student’s overall physical wellbeing and skill development, meaning that liaison with the physiotherapists and occupational therapists is essential.
Please see our PE and Sport Premium Policy (SMT075) for more information.
