How your support helps
For the students at Treloar’s, complex physical disability means that everyday life is full of challenges both in the classroom and in daily living. This is why Treloar’s can’t be just about education—it is about all types of learning. It’s about giving disabled young people opportunities they wouldn’t get elsewhere and building their confidence so they can make the most of what life has to offer. And with that confidence comes achievement, which is something that we are very proud of. For over 115 years we’ve been working with each student to provide life enhancing skills and equipment that unlocks their potential and gives them a chance at a more independent life.
Your support makes such a difference
Although our students receive baseline funding from local authorities, we must raise around £2 million every year to continue to meet all their needs and to provide a first class service and education to our young people.
It is your donations that allow us to achieve this and your money is used to support our students in many different ways.
The difference you make
Thanks to the support of our donors, Treloar School and College has helped thousands of young disabled people for more than 115 years take more control over their lives and given them an education and a future.
Treloar’s provides a unique and specialist environment where education works alongside therapy and care. This holistic approach sees the teachers, therapists, medical staff, dietitians, counsellors, transition staff, technicians and engineers working as one team to support every individual and ensure that they achieve all that they can. Many of these positions and much of the equipment they use, is funded by your donations.
