Student Careers programme

All students are allocated a Student Progress Coordinator (SPC) who will work with the multi-disciplinary team (MDT). SPCs lead weekly multi-disciplinary teams meetings and monitor progress, ensuring appropriate targets are set against EHCP outcomes in line with students’ aspirations. The SPC  will also provide advice and guidance on living, activities, further learning and future placement options, supporting the young person, their family and external stakeholders with this process. The SPC will support students and families in Annual Reviews and, where relevant, will link with parents and agencies in a student’s home area.
