Art commission for college students

College Enterprise students were given a brief to create a piece of art for the head office at Surrey Coalition of Disabled People.

a wall collage of artwork created by Treloar College students.

As part of the enterprise sessions in the college, students took on an art commission from Surrey Coalition of Disabled People. The charity asked the students to create a piece of art for their head office. Nikki Roberts, CEO of the Surrey Coalition of Disabled People, said:

"We provided the very talented art students at Treloar's a brief to develop 6 pieces of artwork that represent each of our areas of work. For example, mental health, digital inclusion etc. We wanted something to display in our office that's colourful, eye-catching and a conversation starter! Well, we were not disappointed! The artwork is beyond brilliant. Each of the pieces are very individual but are tied together via the colour scheme. Thank you to the wonderful students, we're super pleased with the artwork."

Big thanks to Gemma Ellis, Treloar's Art and Enterprise Tutor for supporting our students to complete such a brilliant project and thank you to the Coalition for this wonderful opportunity.
