Sixth Form students have been working really hard on their Spring Term Enterprises since January, focusing on ‘The Explorer’ Enterprise Project.

This initiative comprises of 3 dedicated teams: the Production Team, the Stage Design Team and the Product Design Team.

Treloar's student is using a paint brush to paint a stage prop; her assistant and teacher are standing next to her, assisting with the task: the assistant is holding her hand to help her paint and hold the brush. The teacher is holding the paper that's on the desk in front of the student.

The core of this enterprise is based on the text Sixth Form studied during the Autumn Term, The Explorer by Katherine Rundell. We are thrilled to bring this book to life through our enterprise teams, which includes a stage production and our unique interpretation of the story. This production features a song written by the students, with the invaluable support from the amazing Ricky Tart, a poet, performer and puppeteer.

A student support assistant is glueing a pink feather onto a big pink paper after being directed to do so by a Treloar's student who is looking at the stage prop.

The Sixth Form Production Team is set to perform on 22 of May for families and friends, with more information to follow shortly.

Alongside the drama piece, the Stage Design Team is creating an immersive rainforest environment on stage with trees, plants and vines. Meanwhile, the Product Design Team is crafting beautiful rainforest-themed art pieces, which will be printed onto various products such as mugs, laptop bags, rucksacks, phone cases, and much more.

We are incredibly excited to showcase the hard work and creativity of our students in this ambitious project.
