In November, Treloar's PE and Swim Squad were busy raising awareness of accessible sports by hosting sporting sessions for mainstream schools from Surrey and West Sussex.

On Friday, 15 November, we were visited by students from Royal Grammar School in Guildford who joined in the fun and had a great time participating in a number of accessible sporting games together with students from Treloar Schoolall to raise money for charity!

The theme for the session was 'Pudsey meets Paddington'. The PE Team planned fun and accessible activities for all students: everyone had a chance to practise Boccia skills, play 'Poly’Bear', do some accessible fencing and participate in Wellie throwing.

On 19 November, our friends from The Angmering School in West Sussex came for a visit and spent the day at Treloar School.

The morning was spent in the pool: everybody enjoyed taking part in competitive races and fun pool games before sharing an indoor picnic in Pike Hall. The picnic was a great opportunity for the students from both schools to socialise and interact with each other.

The afternoon was devoted to playing Polybat, Skittles, New Age Kurling and Boccia. Everyone had so much fun that we have invited The Angmering School to come back in the new year to play some more!
