On Wednesday 24 April Treloar School hosted its annual Day of Disability Sports.

Students from local mainstream secondary schools were invited to join in with Treloar’s students in a variety of disability sports.

Students from Eggar’s, Amery Hill and Perins all had an action-packed day during which they played table cricket, wheelchair basketball and rugby, boccia and enjoyed swimming pool games.

Students were divided into groups: each group had a mixture of students from all 4 schools and this was a great opportunity for all involved to get to know each other and compete together as an inclusive group.

PE at Treloar’s

The PE curriculum at Treloar’s offers every student a wonderful, sensory experience that is rewarding and fun while promoting good physical, mental and social well-being. It aims to enable and inspire students to be as physically active and independent as possible, while enjoying a number of sporting and aquatic activities.
