Each year, many businesses and organisations nominate their Chairty of the Year. These can be local charities or charities whose work resonates with the business.
Here at Treloar’s, we are always delighted and grateful to receive news about being nominated and named ‘Charity of the Year’.
It means that there are organisations out there that recognise the work we do here at Treloar’s and want to contribute to our efforts to make a difference to the lives of children and young people at Treloar School and College.
We have just received wonderful news from Bright Advertising, an education marketing agency from Hertfordshire, who chose us to become their Charity of the Year for the year 2024. We couldn’t be more thankful!
James Digby, Managing Director at Bright, said:
"We at Bright have, in recent years, become aware of the hard work and dedication that the staff at Treloar’s put in in order to ensure that every individual in their care can achieve and work towards a future that is as independent as possible. We wanted to do something to raise funds towards the care and therapy they provide for their students and the facilities needed to support them. The Team has entered the virtual Great Wall of China Walk, as we can all contribute to the kilometres throughout the year, each raising much-needed funds as we go."
The Great Wall of China Virtual Challenge is no walk in the park. The Bright Team must conquer a staggering 3513km, the equivalent of scaling the actual Great Wall, over 2024.
